The insert, which is firmly clamped into a dovetail pocket, is available in Sumo Tec grades and with various rake angles for use on a range of materials and applications.

The line’s FF EWX-04 end mills are available in 0.630" and 0.750" diameters with various shank lengths and cylindrical, Weldon, Multi-Master and Flexfit shank types. The tools have a 17-degree lead angle configuration, which directs cutting surface milling cutters forces axially toward the machine tool spindle. The tools are designed for stability during high-feed machining, even for long-overhang applications, the company says.
